I have several problems running Diablo II with cedega-4.4.1:
Most recently, after switching from an nvidia geforce2 mx to an ATI Radeon 7200, in direct3d mode, after the two short logo-movie-thingies, I get a lovely black screen. Keep in mind, I have absolutely nothing against the colour black, but my expectation was to have the main menu for the game.
This does not happen in directdraw mode, however[/b] when I run in directdraw mode I can't log on to any form of Battle.net. This is true with both video cards.
Lastly, even when it did work with the nvidia card, it took about a dozen tries to join a game. It showed the robed figure in front of the door, but before the door opened, even just a crack, it brought me back to whatever chatroom I was in.
I'm running kernel 2.6.13-ck7 if that's useful at all. |

Diablo II just got up one version so u need a newer Cedega version to play it online. 4.4.3 should work to play online. _________________ Less is more. |
