I'm trying to emerge wvdail and I get an error when trying to emerge ppp-2.4.1 in the dependicies(sp?). The error is CONFIG_PPP is not set in kernel configuration. Please set this and try to merge this package again. I have tried to find the CONFIG_PPP setting by make xconfig, make menuconfig and by nano .config and can't seem to find it. I added it to the .config file and recompiled using make && make modules_install, copied the new kernel over and rebooted, to no avail. I am using kernel version 2.6.12-gentoo-r10.
