DMA Error

After installation of Gentoo, i'm running into the dma on hyour hard drive is turn off. this may really slow down fsck check
also unknown_domain (linux i686 2.6.12-r10)

Turn it on, then.
/etc/conf.d/hdparm for more.
The unknown uname means you did not set the hostname when you built the kernel.
