I've been running Liferea for awhile and I notice it sometimes displays pictures, and sometimes the pictures are ads. Even when the picture are not ads, they are annoying because I will begin to read something and then suddenly the text jumps (to make room for the picture). Most web browers have a simple option in their preferences dialog to not load any pictures. I can't find a corresponding option within Liferea. It this possible?

Thanks.

Right. Slight update. not a solution but of interest anyway. Apparently liferea has some sort of scripting capability. They call it filters or execurls or snownews.

http://kiza.kcore.de/software/snownews/snowscripts/liferea
http://kiza.kcore.de/software/snownews/snowscripts/extensions

Specifcally, http://kiza.kcore.de/software/snownews/snowscripts/extensions?file=logo-filter

claims to "remove all logos".

Too bad I can't get it to work. I post it here in case anyone figures out how to work it. ;)
