I'm having troubles with gcc so I tried to fix it running
Code:
source /etc/profile

But that broke nano and emacs. If I try to run nano I get this:
Code:
Error opening terminal: linux.
I have tried to chance term to vt100 but it didn't help.

If I try to run emacs I get this:
Code:

emacs: Terminal type linux is not defined.
If that is not the actual type of terminal you have,
use the Bourne shell command `TERM=... export TERM' (C-shell:
`setenv TERM ...') to specify the correct type.  It may be necessary
to do `unset TERMINFO' (C-shell: `unsetenv TERMINFO') as well.

This is pretty bad because I can't even emerge anything since my gcc-3.2.1 20021207 is broken :(

EDIT 03.03.03
-The reason why my gcc was broken was that I missed /usr/i586-pc-linux-gnu/bin direcory. I also missed files like /sbin/runscript from baselayout build. This is very weird because I'm definitely sure that I installed those packages.

-nano ans emacs aren't still working. I possibly still miss some files. I try to figure out what they are.

EDIT 03.03.03 II
- I re-emerged sys-libs/ncurses and now emacs and nano are working.
