|
|
The problem in short:
Code: | * fire up a konqueror on the shell
* the konqueror windows opens with the about(?) section
* click in the location bar (the cursor appears)
* enter a lot of '/' in the bar (I tried here ~120, cut and paste doesn't not show 'work' here)
* press 'home' (cursor goes to the first '/')
* press and hold 'delete' to delete the '/' -> crash (sooner or later):
% konqueror
Killed
% |
I've recompiled kdebase, kdelibs, qt and glibc with '-O0' but the bug remains. The crash happens in 'malloc()'. For a full detailed report please read the kde bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109891
My system runs very stable so I think the problem here is not from the wrong compile flags. Any ideas? Can anyone reproduce the bug? |

I can manage to kill konqueror by starting it, adding lots of '/'s, pressing home, deleting all the text and adding more '/'s |

Yea, I'm not alone. Can you create a backtrace? |

Using 'gdb konqueror' and then run I get Code: | ....
[New Thread 1949699 (LWP 6137)]
[Thread 1933314 (LWP 6136) exited]
Program receiving signal SIFSEGV Segmentation fault
[Switching to Thread 32769 (LWP 6018)]
0xb76407b in posix_memalign () from /usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkdecore.so.4 | At this point kde and X11 freeze over so that is all I could get for you.
Note: I don't have the debug USE flag set or FEATURES=nostrip. |
