|
|
Hello,
I'm installing Gentoo for Amd 64. While emerge was running in the step "stage 2 to stage 3", the computer lost the connection to Internet, so the process stopped before downloading Gettext. What command do I have to run in order to restart the installation where it hung up ?
Thanks for your help. |

You should run the same emerge command with --resume, like so:
Code: |
# emerge --resume -e system

Works a treat - I'm forever losing my (A)DSL link, being out in the "bush". |

If you have a spotty connection you can always try downloading all packages from portage first with:
This should download all packages before compiling. _________________ www.latestintech.com |
