everytime I boot I have to tell it where the root partition is (/dev/hda3) (I used most of the defaults from the handbook)
I expect this is a value I must have entered incorrectly somewhere in one of the config files or something.
Anyone know precisely what file and string I have to enter? |

Lilo. Also the framebuffer isnt working, I cant see any sort of picture. its jsut a big red box with gentoo in it. |

got it to work so dont worry about it. my main problem now is getting eth0 to work. check my other thread u.u |
