I just bought an Olympus VN-960PC digital voice recorder and hoped I'd be able to read it as a mass storage device when connected via USB. No such luck apparently. Is there something else I can try?
lsusb shows:
Code: | Bus 005 Device 003: ID 07b4:020d Olympus Optical Co., Ltd |
/proc/scsi/scsi does not show the device
dmesg shows:
Code: | usb 5-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 |
Normal usb pen drives work fine, as does my digital camera.
If this is not something that is going to show up as a scsi device, then is there some other way to read it as a "raw" block device? Maybe I can sift through the data and recover the sound files...
Thanks,
Don |
