I've got a netatalk afp server (sharing an ext3 fs) running on my gentoo box that I have mounted on a newer iBook. The problem is, it bitches when I try to move a file longer then the old 8.3 character size limit. I followed the instructions on gentoo-wiki.com. Anyone have any idea why I'm having this problem? |

Yeah, i get the same error. It keeps complaining that my files are too long when i copy them. Wonder what the problem is? |

Upgrade to Netatalk 2 (~x86) which fixed the problem for me. _________________ Regards,
