Hey, so first question, does anyone have one of these working? Everything I've seen(googled) sez it ought to be possible, but I am stuck. I'd rather not deal with APM, as it is deprecated, and since the kernel is going forward, why not use it? Ok, so enough ranting. My Suspend-to-Ram doesn't work. I finally got standby operational, using vbetool and ibm-acpi hotkeys. I can suspend, get the little moon, and on resume the screen comes back(thanks to vbetool post) prints four statements from ACPI, and then quits. I will follow up with kernel configs/etc. soon. Any ideas?

As I suggested in the meeting we were both in earlier today, before the meeting really started, try older kernels with suspend patches. :)

Configs would be nice, as would dmesg output.

At this point, suspend-to-disk would be a nice alternative...
Anyway, here's the dmesg, etc. I promised:
http://davec.churchofthedollar.com/acpi_docs/dmesg-2.6.13.2
The kernel config:
http://davec.churchofthedollar.com/acpi_docs/config-2.6.13.2
My suspend-to-RAM script (not working):
http://davec.churchofthedollar.com/acpi_docs/sleep.sh
My standby script (blanks the screen-working)
http://davec.churchofthedollar.com/acpi_docs/standby.sh
My hibernate script (not working):
http://davec.churchofthedollar.com/acpi_docs/hibernate.sh

Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm hesitant to start trying random kernels unless someone has a good reason/version to start with, because well, there's a lot of them...
Thanks!
