Hey, so first question, does anyone have one of these working? Everything I've seen(googled) sez it ought to be possible, but I am stuck. I'd rather not deal with APM, as it is deprecated, and since the kernel is going forward, why not use it? Ok, so enough ranting. My Suspend-to-Ram doesn't work. I finally got standby operational, using vbetool and ibm-acpi hotkeys. I can suspend, get the little moon, and on resume the screen comes back(thanks to vbetool post) prints four statements from ACPI, and then quits. I will follow up with kernel configs/etc. soon. Any ideas? _________________ --

As I suggested in the meeting we were both in earlier today, before the meeting really started, try older kernels with suspend patches.
Configs would be nice, as would dmesg output. _________________ moo |
