Hi out there!

I played CS for a long time with cedega without any problems. When World of Warcraft was released I started playing that instead...

Now I wanted to do a CS-Match again but it won't run. I get a windows after starting steam:

Quote:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library <- (window title)

Runtime Error!

Program C:\Spiele\Steam\Steam.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support Team for more information.

[OK]

I removed my whole Transgaming Drive, reinstalled all the ActiveX shit etc...but this error still occurs. I also reinstalled Steam in a fresh Transgaming folder and in the existing one - no go. I searched the net - nobody seems to have this error...

Any ideas?

btw I'm running amd64...

i have cedega running on amd64

u need to export lib32 libraries inorder for glx acceleration.

altough i get dx7 support only. i refuse to play at such acceptable circumstances for the best game ever.

so now i play ut2004 mods at 1680x1050 its different. i dont mind it.

Uhm...I always got it running without doing anything special. I don't remember that I reported any libs or something else. I just emerged it and it worked.

But....maybe...I once did it before a long time and thats the reason why my CS:S won't run?

Anyway ...I ran cedega and Source with DirectX9 without problems before and now I run WoW with all Shadereffects and anything else without doing anything special.

I will try this 32bit-libs thing, maybe that will solve my Steam-problem....will post later.

And yes, I have a true amd64 install.

Hmmm....

Exporting Librarys didn't help...I'm using cedega 4.3.1 now. I will see if a 4.4 Update helps...

Didn't try it yet because I had a lot other things to do. Will post if it works after I had time.
