Hi.
After compiling the 2.6.13-gentoo-r3 kernel yesterday I reemerged the latest testing ati-drivers package (8.14.13-r5) but the fglrx.ko module wouldn't build.
I used the same configfile as I used with the -r2 kernel (I also checked the character devices selections which seems to be alright). There is no error reported during the compilation.
I find this kind of odd, of course I could use my old kernel but I'd sure like to know if I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks, KF.

Won't build or won't load? I've seen where it builds ok, but the module doesn't load.

Try a depmod -ae

Some solutions here: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-386621.html (manual copying worked for me)
