salve a tutti, ho acquistato da poco un fujitsu siemens amilo m1437g su cui ho istallato gentoo (work in progress)
Il portatile ha un centrino 1.8 con 2 mb di cache, quindi dovrebbe essere abbastanza veloce. Invece ho notato che è piuttosto lento

quindi ho controllato in cpuinfo

e ho notato che la cpu è a 800 mhz!
questa cosa è scritta anche nel bios, infatti dice che il modello è pentium m 1.86 ghz cpu a 800 mhz (750 addirittura)
è normale tutto ciò?
C'è qualche problema o devo rassegnarmi ad aver comprato una sola?

la cosa è normale, almeno da quel che ne sò io, quindi mi sà ke devi rassegnarti per quanto riguarda la cpu.

ho risolto usando cpufreq, si posoono settare a manina le varie frequenze di fuzionamento. e ora:
