How to setup a DVD Drive? (SOLVED)

I have a dvd drive on my computer, and I had it installed and working fine for some time, but I put it in the fstab as /dev/cdroms/cdrom1. I want for it to be recognized in the fstab and the file manager as a DVD drive. Can I do this?

If you use udev you' ve to play with udev rules. Look here for an example (and a great explanation)
