When I run evmsn, it detects my lvm2 volumes and suggest to convert them to /dev/evms/lvm/vg/lp, but when I try to save that, evms claims there are no device of this type, whatever that means.
I can't find any relevant documentation on how to perform this. I only have one drive, but it is about 30% used, so I have ample space to create evms volumes and copy data over, if only I could activate evms _________________ (7 of 9) Installing star-trek/species-8.4.7.2::talax. |

Ok, it's been a while. I can only do what I acn in the amount of free time I have.
Yesterday, I managed to get evms to take charge of my lvm2 segments. I'm using an evms2 enabled initramfs (thanks genkernel) and ran evmsn, pressed A + S.
Voilà.
Been there. Done that.
A big thank you for the help! _________________ (7 of 9) Installing star-trek/species-8.4.7.2::talax. |
