j'avance ans l'installation mais grub ne veut pas s'installer
l'installation automatique ne fonctionne pas
si le fais en manuel jobtiens une erreur plus parlante:

or le fichier stage1 existe biens dans /boot/grub
je rapelle que j'installe le bousin a partir d'une autre distribution linux
est-il possible qu'il ne cherche pas dans le bon boot ?
pourtant, si j'ai bien compris, avec chroot je lui ai dit d'utiliser le syst}me gentoo non ?
bref, je suis bloqu{ et j'ai encore besoin d'aide

Es tu certain que (hd0,0) correspond à /boot ?
Fais voir ton fstab, et la sortie de mount.

Avant de chrooter, tu as bien monté /proc ? |

oui, proc a bien ete monte
non hd0,0 ne correspond pas au /boot qui est sur hda2 soit hd0,1 si j'ai bien compris
je croyais que hd0,0 etait l'ndroit o| installer grub (la mbr). je me trompais apparement
en changeant cette variable, grub veut bien s'installer
reste plus qu'a redemarrer et verifier l'etendu des degats.
