What is this error? I keep getting it when trying to run anything with Wine, and it never used to happen. I'm guessing its the new version of XFree86 that caused it because I never got it until I upgraded to 4.3.0
XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server ":0.0"
after 167 requests (167 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
I'll get that error several times, or the same error with a different number of requests, then after about the 4th try the program will run! This happens when running wine with ANY program. |

You will find that the problem resides with the interaction between wine and glibc-2.3.2.
No fix as yet, see bug number 16420 for details.

Thanks cretin! I really hope they fix this soon . Although in the bug report it says wine won't start any apps, I get it to start Kazaa, but only after trying numerous times, which is completely unreliable. |
