hi.. i'm using a 2.6 kernel, tehrefore i emerged linux-wlan-ng pre23 .. iwconfig does not realize that this is a wireless card. is there anyway to configure this? or anyway to download a 2.4 kernel in emerge?

I think that linux-wlan-ng uses its own config interface: is the prism2 module loading w/o errors, and if so, what is dmesg saying?

hostap is the comparable to linux-wlan-ng for prism 2 cards and it take iwconfig.. rite?
