When trying to emerge the latest 'gedit', I run into this:
grep: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.1/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
sed: can't read /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.1/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.1/libstdc++.la' is not a valid libtool archive

I went to #gentoo at openprojects, and it was suggested and I tried the following:
# /usr/portage/sys-devel/gcc/files/fix_libtool_files.sh gcc-3.2.2
It ran and reported no errors, but the emerge errors persisted.
I have merged _tons_ of files since I first got this error, all without problems.
Any ideas?
Thank you. |
