Rescue reiserfs partition

I have made a real big mistake!



I have (had) important informations on a disk. It was reiserfs and I accidently mkfs.ext3 the partion.
I know this was stupid, but how can I rediscover the data on the disk?

Ok, I decided to look at the bits and see what I can find out.

Could someone recommend a hex edditior which is able to read and edit a 50 GB /dev/sda1 file?
