I can't get swsusp2 and nvidia to play together.
With the nvidia-suspend-patch applied the computer just doesn't shutdown when suspending. It hangs whith a black screen. Without the nvidia patch it shuts down, but when resuming and reentering X i just get a lot of rubbish (hangs too).
Suspending works just fine using nv as driver in X, or shutting down X and removing the nvidia module before suspending. So I strongly suspect nvidia causing the problem..
I use vanilla 2.6.12 kernel + swsusp2 patch and I have tried both nvidia 1.0.7174 and 1.0.7676 with same results.
Someone else got (solved ) the same problem? |

Hi,
same problem here. Has really no one figured out a solution for that problem?

Yep, me too....
I'm using kernel 2.6.13-suspend2-r4 and have tried nvidia-kernel-1.0.7667 and 1.0.7676-r1, both patched with the nvidia suspend patch. I'm having the exact same behaviour as described by meathoz.
Anyone??? |
