ext3, reiserfs???
Can it be changed after install?
currently have ext3 on all but /boot partition which is ext2

could i change, should i change, benefits to changing??

Well... ext3 rules if you are just a desktop user. Have experimented with reiser but I dont really see much diff in performance.
