Hi everybody,

I am experiencing problems with my Wireless interface. Yesterday everything worked fine, but today it does not work. :(

The problem is that, although my laptop connects perfectly to the Access Point, and it receives the IP,DNS, Gateway and so on through DHCP, when I try to make a ping, I receive no answer. I thought it could be a problem with the connection to the AP, but it is not, because, executing in another console the program iptraf, I see how I am receiving responses to my ping requests.

What can be happening?

Thanks in advance

Are you trying to ping a dns name or an ip? Is it possible you are just unable to resolve DNS?

What exactly are you trying to ping? If an outside site isn't pinging, what about the router, can you ping that?

It was a firewall problem, I hadn't noticed it.

Thank you very much for your answers.
