This problem interests me for a number of reasons, primarily because its not really a problem... right now. I installed madwifi and configured it (i assume properly) and my wireless card connects, the essid is right, iwconfig registers ath0 (i surfed over to the forums with it), but i cant add it to the default run level. the error for
Code:
# ./net.ath0 start

bash: ./net.ath0: Too many levels of symbolic links

and for
Code:
# rc-update add net.ath0 default

* /sbin/rc-update: /etc/init.d/net.ath0 not found; aborting.

yet /etc/init.d yeilds
Code:
apmd         cupsd         hald        mDNSResponder  numlock       sshd
bootmisc     dbus          halt.sh     modules        portmap       syslog-ng
checkfs      depscan.sh    hdparm      net.ath0       reboot.sh     urandom
checkroot    domainname    hostname    net.eth0       rmnologin     vixie-cron
chipcardd2   esound        hotplug     net.lo         rsyncd        xdm
clock        famd          keymaps     netmount       runscript.sh
consolefont  functions.sh  local       nifd           shutdown.sh
crypto-loop  gpm           localmount  nscd           spamd

The box is a Toshiba Satellite A45-S130. Card is Atheros AR5212 802.11a/b/g.

Any help is appreciated in advance.
