Bonjour,
Je viens de réinstaller la Gentoo avec Gnome 2.12 et je n'arrive pas à lancer
Firefox, Thunderbird ou encore Epiphany.
Voici l'erreur :

Firefox 1.0.7-r2 puis r3
Pango 1.10.1
Cairo 1.0.2
Il s'agirait d'un conflit de librairie pango et cairo. Firefox et co n'utilise pas encore la librairie cairo.
Le problème existe aussi sur d'autres distrib mais de nouveaux packages corrige ce problème (comme sur Fedora)
D'autres ont réussi à faire fonctionner Firefox en modifiant le fichier /usr/bin/firefox et en enlevant le commentaire pour les lignes :
MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1
export MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO
Mais je n'ai pas ces ligne dans ce fichier et même à avec un export MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1, celà ne fonctionne pas.
Est-ce quelqun a résolu ce problème sans passer pas la beta 1.5 de firefox ???

un workaround pour le moment : change le theme de ton gnome lance firefox et remet ton theme d'avant.
ça marche chez moi |

tu es sur que c'est cette manip qui permet de faire fontionner firefox sur gnome 2.12
car ça marche pas chez moi ! |

je passe sur le theme Crux
et là je peu lancer firefox...
tente avec different theme pour voir. |

j'ai essayer de changer plein de theme y compris crux
et j'ai toujours la même erreur
tu as quelle version de firefox, pango, cairo, gnome ???
j'ai vu que des patch existaient pour mozilla ou firefox 1.5 beta
j'espère qu'il va bientôt sortir un patch pour firefox 1.0.7 et thunderbird ! |

J'ai installer la version binaire et ça fonctionne.
ça résoud pas totalement mon problème mais ça ira en attendant !!!! |

Donc, gnome ayant évolué avant firefox, sûrement que l'erreur que vous obtenez est liée à votre useflag moznoxft.
