I am using a 6.13.r3 kernel. And Yamaha sound driver
Any ideas?

When in GTK, open up kmix from a terminal and make sure all of the switches are turned on and that the volume is at the highst level. It happened to me, and this solved it. _________________ Registered Linux User #387568

Couldn't open audio
Please check that
Your soundcard is configured properly
You have the correct output plugin sleceted
No other program is blocking the soundcard
