Apache2 access_log changes: referer and agent not logged

Apache2 is not logging user agent and referer information anymore. Beside going through the new Apache2 configuration and getting everything to work as before, that information suddenly disapeared from the access_log file as of October 3. Any idea? I have checked the conf file and the directives are still there.
