I already read throught most of the threads in this (and other forums) but I still can't get direct rendering working with my radeon 9600pro.
the problem is that whenever I try to use ATIs internal AGPGART I get the ENODEV error and whenever I try to use kernel drivers instead (in my case agpgart and via-agp) my complete system locks up (with a funny looking screen  -> agp error)
unfortunatly I haven't found a way to get some error messages or other information about what's exactly happening 
so .. maybe one of u guys can help me |

What exactly does the error message say? Please post this "agp error"!
