Hi,

Is there a way to make so that when I plug a device in (like usb pen, cd-rom...) there is an automatic icon that appears on the desktop and when I umount the device it disappears from the desktop?

Fedora or Suse or Linspire I think they do so.

Thank you,
Spiro

Hi mwilliamson,

I already have both of them installed. I need the icons to appear in the desktop and disappear completely when not mounted.

Also, is it normal that with kde 3.4.2 I do not have any of my fstab mounts listed in konqueror, under Go, Storage Media? I am using amd64

Thank you,
Spiro
