Yea, I just saw that site too.
what's the deal?
All I read on top it says: An attempt to write....
this is just a project to create something off of what JoseJX is building (or someone else), I guess.

This is an implementation of the spec that Johannes Berg and I have been working on. It's linked to from the AE on MOL instructions above. However, the implementation is not complete and it's not useful at this point. However they have mananged to transmit some frames, so things are getting closer. Of course, I'll let everyone know once the driver is in a usable state and provide instructions for usage.
Please be patient. :) _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |

Yes, please let us know
I have built the source and extracted the firmware from the mac driver, but I'm not sure where to put the firmware files? and the module won't insmod :-/
Need to do a little more playing to try at least to get the card initialised/seen ...
Keep up the good work!
cheers

The firmware files go in /lib/firmware. This can be changed in hotplug if you want to put them somewhere else. _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |

As I said above, the implementation is *NOT* complete. Unless you want to write some code for the project, there's no reason to test things yet.
When it's in a usable state I'll write a HOWTO. Please try to be patient until then. :) _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml
