Habe versucht Gentoo zu installieren, komme aber bei der Grub Installation nicht weiter.
Ich will Grub auf Diskette installieren also geb ich grub-install /dev/fd0 ein aber dann kommt nur die Meldung:
Could not find device for /boot/boot: not found or not a block device
Verstehe allerdings auch nicht so wirklich wie ich die grub.conf konfigurieren soll da ich keine extra Boot-Partition eingerichtet habe, vielleicht kann mir da jemand noch helfen?

Achja ich hab jetzt auch keine Ahnung wie ich wieder in meine Gentoo Installation reinkomme, muss ich da mit der CD booten und dann einfach die Partition chrooten oder wie?  |

Leider habe ich noch nie GRUB auf eine Floppy installiert, aber ich vermute mal, du musst irgendein Filesystem auf der Floppy erstellen:

Ja, genau so wie bei der Installation. |

Habs jetzt hingekriegt, musste Grub "händisch" installieren dann hats geklappt.
