|
|
Hi,
I'd like to use viewcvs to view an svn repository.
I installed viewcvs-1.0_pre20050929 and svn-1.2.3-r2.
I'm using a viewcvs.conf like the one provided with viewcvs.conf.example, where a changed:
svn_roots = svn: /home/svn/repos
default_root = svn
But when I access viewcvs (via http) I get:
"The settings of 'cvs_roots' and default_root=svn are misconfigured in the viewcvs.conf file."
I have commented out the cvs_roots setting, but the same happens assigning it any value
I don't understand if there is a configuration error or subversion is not correctly supported
Any help? _________________ rb

Hmm, ViewCVS and SVN, I'm not sure they're 100% compatible... |

I was finally successful to have a viewcvs+svn working, but I had to download the latest sources from the cvs and launch the included install script. Latest gentoo ebuild doesn't seem to work with svn tough the svn_roots keyword is included in the config file _________________ rb |
