The installation of Gentoo 1.1a package 3 went fine but after the first reboot, it hangs and "caching service dependencies" is the last line i see.
This line is printed by depscan.sh which i can run without a problem when i boot from the cd.
Does anybody have a tip on how to fix the hangup? _________________ 24 hours in a day, 24 bottles of beer in a case. Coincidence? |

I removed my USB keyboard & mouse and now it boots! But when i attach my keyboard again it keeps on booting well but the keyboard isn't initialised.
I guess i should fiddle with the USB settings. _________________ 24 hours in a day, 24 bottles of beer in a case. Coincidence? |

I have exactly the same problem and also usb keyboard and mouse. Anyone has a better solution than "disconnect"? I guess i have to play around with kernel settings, anyone has a hint what to change? |
