I'm getting a 2U server with Intel Xeon processors. Is it possible for me to run Gentoo in 64-bit mode and install more than 4GB RAM?

yeah the 4 gig limits is per thread i belive, you really need to check out some xeon vs opteron benchmarks though, the xeons get spanked so hard its not funny
