I wish to emerge OpenOffice.org with the KDE Crystal theme.
I did emerge using the following USE flags:
"-gtk -gtk2 -gnome ooo-kde qt kde gcj java crystal -debug firefox"
However, the result is that I don't see the crystal theme. Am I missing something when I emerge OpenOffice.org? |

OOo doesn't have a "crystal" USE flag so I don't think it actually supports the crystal theme (or any other KDE theme for that matter). |

Ok ... In another discussion I saw the crystal flag applied to OpenOffice.org. When I tried to emerge openoffice-ximian, it told me that it was deprecated, and that all the nice features of Ximian could be applied to OpenOffice.org 2.0. |

OpenOffice 2.0 has no crystal USE flag. To see what USE flags are available with the ebuild, run
Code: | emerge -pv openoffice |
You can build it with both the gnome and kde flags. It uses the kde or gnome look (including the icons) depending upon which desktop you start it from. _________________ "...as we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours, and this we should do freely and generously." -Benjamin Franklin |
