Ciao a tutti,
ho installato l'applet per gnome emifreq per visualizzare la temperatura del processore e poter modificare la velocità di clock.
Il problema riguarda il fatto che per far funzionare correttamente l'applet, devo lanciare al boot il seguente modulo

Ho provato con

rc-update add emifreqd default

e mi becco ovviamente un

m non funziona, credo perché mi manca un initscript associato.
cosa mi consigliate di fare:
1) provare a creare un initscript specifico (non è per caso che lo script esiste già e me lo sono perso io??)
2) non usare rc-update e inserire il comando direttamente nel file rc.local

funziona, grazie!
il motivo per cui con rc-update non va è dovuta la fatto che manca lo script per il demone?
se avesi fatto uno script io, sapebbe andato anche con l'altro modo?

| dovresti crearti a manina lo script per farlo partire. è più complicato, avresti potuto fare una cosa del genere se ti servissero anche i comando start stop restart. oppure se ci fossero delle dipendenze... esempio: avere la rete non attiva al momento dell'avvio o cose del genere. |
