Hi everyone,

I recently updated my system using

Code:

emerge world

and then had to update TOO many conf files for my liking so I decided to just use all the new conf files.
big mistake!
as you can expect, it broke a lot o' stuff. now I'd like to take the time to do the conf merges the way it should have been done, but I have no idea how. can someone point me to the right direction? like where to look for the backup files and what utility to use?
