After i connected my usb-player wth my pc, i cant find him anymore. This first happened after i updated the kernel.
Now i downgraded to 2.6.12-gentoo-r10 but i still have the problem.
I think it has something to do with udev, because i updated udev some weeks ago and also updated the conf.
Any Help?

I am not sure does it relate to your problem but there was a bug in udev-070 some days ago (fixed in udev-070-r1). Make sure you are not on udev-070 |

So is it detected when you plug the player into the USB? Look at dmesg for help. If you find that in dmesg try to mount it manually before configure your udev again. |
