Salve a tutti.
posto perche' ho cercato di capire la causa del problema che vi illustero' ma non ci sono riuscito e vorrei quindi un aiuto.
Sul mio sistema utilizzo xfce come WM ed il mio obiettivo era far si che xfsm-shutdown-helper fosse eseguito con privilegi di root anche dal mio utente non-super (mordred).
Questo perche' in tal modo mordred potrebbe spegnere il PC da interfaccia grafica. Il problema e' che, pur avendo seguito le istruzioni di http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_xfce4 l'opzione di spegnimento e' sempre non disponibile e l'unica attiva e' "quit".
Il mio sudoers contiene questa riga:
| Code: | | %shutdown ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/libexec/xfsm-shutdown-helper |
e naturalmente mordred e' bel gruppo shutdown.
Inoltre vagando per il filesystem ho trovato un file nella home di root che riporta degli errori che potrebbero essere utili per capire la fonte del problema:

Gli errori sono molteplici ed apparentemente corrispondono a tutte le volte che ho avviato xfsm-shutdown-helper..

Risolto!
dopo lunghe ricerche ho scoperto che il problema era causato da un bug dell'installazione da stage 3 che a suo tempo avevo effettuato. La soluzione e' stato un semplice
da root. Ed ora mi spiego anche perche' non mi funzionava la bash completion da utente..
Per chi avesse riscontrato il mio stesso problema consiglio di dare un'occhiata qua:
