Starting gxine I get the following error
Code:
(gxine:12012): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to set label from markup due to error parsing markup: Error on line 2 char 9: Invalid UTF-8 encoded text
Speicherzugriffsfehler (=Segmentaion fault)

I do not use UTF-8. Xine is running fine. It is just a problem with gxine. I already re-emerged xine-lib and gxine but the problem is still the same.

Thanks for your help

Upgrading to gxine-0.4.8 solved the problem.
Versions prior to gxine-0.4.6 are known for problems with full-screen and non-utf-8 locales.
I don't know what problems I get with the masked ~x86 gxine-0.4.8. But at least gxine is running.

I don't understand why developers mark the 0.4.5 version stable when there are known problems with this version?
