I'm trying to do the following:

Code:
emerge gentoo-sources -fvp

in order to get a list of the files I need to download and copy to emerge on a machine without an Internet connection. Unfortunately, even though my make.conf contains the following line:

Code:
GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org"

and I checked that the GENTOO_MIRRORS variable is actually set correctly, I get one filename listing for every mirror in the known universe, which renders the list pretty much unreadable.

Am I missing something? How can I force emerge to only list the mirrors I want?

your mirror entry is incomplete, it should point to the "distfiles" dir
Code:
GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org/distfiles"
