|
|
I'm trying to do the following:
Code: | emerge gentoo-sources -fvp |
in order to get a list of the files I need to download and copy to emerge on a machine without an Internet connection. Unfortunately, even though my make.conf contains the following line:
Code: | GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org" |
and I checked that the GENTOO_MIRRORS variable is actually set correctly, I get one filename listing for every mirror in the known universe, which renders the list pretty much unreadable.
Am I missing something? How can I force emerge to only list the mirrors I want? _________________ "Give a man a fire and he's warm for one night, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life..."

your mirror entry is incomplete, it should point to the "distfiles" dir
Code: | GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org/distfiles" |
