I recently upgraded new ck-sources and I noticed that cpu usage is higher than it used to be. When I use my browser and listen music with xmms music stops everytime I load new web page because of high cpu usage. This wasn't happening with gentoo-sources. Although games runs a lot faster with ck-sources.

I had the same, but my problem was ALSA. I had to include alsa into the kernel and not as module. Now I haven't got any problem ... |
