fresh install and need help with some programs

ok i was running a website on a windows based machine with phpbb2 forums all was running fine till the forums were hacked and folders deleted so instead of trying to build it back i decide to come back and give gentoo another try.

the question is what programs would i need to get my site back online? i was able to get the htdocs folder off before i reformated so the site is still there and i want have to redo all of it. but what other programs do i need?

apache
mysql
phpmyadmin
and a program to update my ip on zoneedit (because i have a dynamic ip)
phpbb2

and i think that is all i had on the windows not exactly sure because it all came wrapped in a nice little program called miniportal i think the name was.

also im very new to linux and gentoo only played with it for about a month a year ago so of course the kiss rule applies.
if i can emerge it and it needs special commands please let me know what they are so i dont get something if i dont need it.

also not real sure if i want to put forums back online yet but i really do want the website and ftp access back up

Read the first few lines of your own post, especially the ones regarding what happened to your phpbb forum.
Then ponder why Gentoo has stopped supporting phpbb at all - somethign to do with security, I seem to remember...

Short answer: don't use phpbb2.
It's leaky and dangerous.

If you still want to - you'll be hacked, again.
You'll have to install it by hand, anyway, which may or may not be a simple matter depending on your knowledge about apache, php, and phpbb itself.

yeah i know phpbb has its problems and because it was just a small clan forums didnt see any reason for it to be hacked but obviously there was thats why i said the forums may not get put back probably want not with phpbb anyways.

but the site how ever i would like to get back up which has nothing to do with phpbb, phpbb2, nuke, or any other forum program because its all html or xml coded. i just need/want the programs to get it and a private ftp thing working so some of the other members of my clan can update there parts of the site.

we are a gameing clan not some sort of devil worshiping clan also so dont think harsh when you see the word clan.
we play americas army (which just got updated for linux also finally) and we are {IDS} Immortal Dead Souls and that is why i would like to get the site back thx in advance.
