[SOLVED] MESA ! = FGLRX Grrr... ATi Driver Problems

I have an Abit AV8 (VIA K8T800 Pro) and an X800 XT AGP.

I followed the Radeon driver guide and built in via_agp as a module. I put fglrx in the autostart and when I startx and lsmod, I see fglrx there, but it's using MESA and there's no direct rendering.

Any ideas?

have you run "opengl-update ati" yet?
