I had my Linksys WPC11 working fine with 2.6.12. I experienced a problem with my filesystems and the device-mapper, I then upgraded the kernel to latest version 2.6.13-r3 and now r5, but my wifi pcmcia adapter stopped working.

I re-emerged pcmcia and linux-wlan-ng, but I am still stucked with the following error:

Quote:
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] watching 2 sockets
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] starting, version is 3.2.8
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] initializing socket 0
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] socket 0: Bromax OEM 11Mbps 802.11b WLAN Card (Prism 3)
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] product info: "The Linksys Group, Inc.", "Instant Wireless Network PC Card", "ISL37300P", "RevA"
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] manfid: 0x0274, 0x1613 function: 6 (network)
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] 'prism2_cs' already bound to socket 0
Oct 29 23:24:23 [cardmgr] get dev info on socket 0 failed: No such device

The module is actually loaded, but seems cardmgr is trying to do something else. I wasn't able to find a way to gather more info on the problem. What cardmgr is trying to do and how is it gathering its information? The stab file is created and correct. The module is loaded. What is missing?
