I am having a problem with the vmxnet driver from VMware. It worked the very first time I used it, it worked perfectly and I had net access.
Now, however, it is unable to get an IP address with DHCP. However, the DHCP server on the host is apparently doing the right thing:

However, it's like the guest never realizes that it got a response.
Everything works fine as soon as I switch back to pcnet32, however. |

hm, I am having exact same problem with vmware5.5.1.19175
with vanilla-sources 2.6.14.2
