it used to be phoenix, but that one doesn't seem to compile on a ppc.
then it became galeon and mozilla on the second place (it was slower), but the fonts were ugly, I finally got the windows fonts to work, but then the latest versions of the browsers got issues, so I was forced to switch.
so these days I use the built-in kde browser, konquerer, latest version ofcourse, which renders fonts and pages beautifull and fast. Only thing I really miss are the tabs. |

How do I get Phoenix on PPC anyways? Somebody else mentioned that in this thread...do I have to download a tarball and compile it myself? |

I became used to Galeon a year ago and used it much on my x86. It is fast and not so bloated like Mozilla -- but it uses also the really good Gecko-Rendering-Engine.
But I also tried Konqueror. The new version with KDE 3.1 with tabs is quite fine and even fast. _________________ hacking is not a crime |
