CUPS says job done but nothing prints (SOLVED)

Hello everyone, I am trying to make my printer work ....I followed the gentoo CUPS guide to the T, downloaded the HPIJS driver from linuxprinting.org.

My printer is detected by CUPS but whenever I try to print anything it goes through the queue and the job is reported as DONE, but nothing comes out of my printer. Also I get : JOB 1 -- Printer fault !! in cups.log

Only thing I did was emerge cups... do I need to emerge foomatic and hpijs ? Thank you

Well I had to emerge hpijs wich emerge foomatic-db. maybe this will help someone.

Just to be sure I used USE='ppds' emerge hpijs
