|
|
Hello, everyone,
I am suffering from a strange problem: It seems my "audio card" is set to "mute" on poweroff, and I have to remove "mute" with alsamixer on restarting. It's boring
How can the audio card be set to be non-mute all the time, no matte poweroff or not?
Best Regards
Nick |

I used to have the same problem on my laptop untill I acuatly ran the alsamixer and SET the vol. levels.
After that when I would reboot it would load up unmuted with the vol. levels I set
Hopefully, this works for you to
If you continue to have problems I will go home tonight and look at my saved history file (since it was a while back) and will try to see if mabey there was another command I ran in order to correct this issue. |

You can use the save/restore options in /etc/conf.d/alsasound.
Personally, I have in /etc/conf.d/local.start:
Code: | amixer -q set Master 12 unmute
amixer -q set PCM 25 unmute
amixer -q set "Wave Surround" 30
amixer -q set Center 30 |
